Who I am and what I’ve done

I am a fitness trainer, husband, father, gamer, Trekkie, Warhammer enthusiast, ice cream enjoyer, cookie monster, and cold foot sufferer.

As an army brat, I lived in a lot of places. Hell, I even lived in Germany for like 8 years man. Where I was born though, was Georgia. After my stepfather retired, we moved back to my hometown (eww) and it was there I stayed until I met a camouflage enthusiast, my wife.

When we met, I was well into my career as a first responder. But, as with any relationship involving the military, we knew that sooner or later one of us would have to give up their career if we were going to stay together. I’ll give you one wild guess as to who ended up throwing in their two-week notice. Yep, you guessed it, it was my wife.

THEN, after the army kindly reminded her “That’s not how this shit works” and mumbled something about prison time, we decided it would be best for her to stay in and for me to pursue something I was PaSsIoNaTe about. Gym shit. It wasn’t long before we were married with a lil’ dude and on our way to Tampa, FL.

It was there I began my fitness career and have been at it ever since. Serving active duty, veterans, first responders, and their families as well as people completely unrelated to military or public service. I have trained people both in and out of the gym as well as online. I’ve even taught group fitness classes. At some point I managed to be featured on the cover of a magazine.

Years later, we now live in Harker Heights, Texas. Here, I still serve the same wonderful people I have always cared about, those who believe in positive change… or some other cliché corpo-speak. But seriously, I love what I do.

  • Anyone really. I generally work with military, first responders, and their families simply because that is who I have spent the most time with and understand. I spent many years as a first responder, so I identify with that community more than anyone else. Because of that, I understand how to program and work around their hectic schedules.

  • In short, yes. It all depends on the needs of the client. The few things I have listed are just the most common services I offer. Shoot me a message and ask, I won’t bite.

  • I take myself seriously enough. I’m not a fan of the fake plastic personalities. You know the type; they’ll always figure out a way to make the simplest thing sound impressive on their LinkedIn profile. I want my clients to have a REAL idea of who’s taking their money.
